We celebrated Easter on Friday this year because the weather was supposed to be cold on Sunday. Haven was just over a week old and it was our first outing with our new girl. Nana had prepared a brisket dinner at her house for the family. Before dinner we hid eggs out front for Everett and Norah's first official hunt. Nana had invited several of her neighbors over and everyone was excited to see how the kids reacted to hunting eggs for the first time... and to get their first look at Miss Haven. I tried to take some pictures of the kids hunting but managed to get only a few and despite our best attempt at a family picture we left out our newest addition. In my defense it was a little cool and very windy outside and she was happily snuggled in people's arms inside. I also neglected to get pictures of pretty much everyone else there but I did get a few of Everett and Norah and that's what matters right?!
I had neglected to get Everett's Easter basket together before Haven was born. So for my first solo outing since welcoming Haven I ran out to find some goodies to put in his basket. It wasn't my best work but thankfully he loved it anyway! He was particularly excited about getting the Lion Guard movie which we proceeded to watch on repeat 4 times that day!
